idk, i keep hearing rumors about his mom being a qunicy at one point in time, which would explain why his dad (a soul reaper) knows Uryyu's dad (a quincy) either way he was partially human, when they severed his chain of fate so he could regain his powers and save Rukia from execution he kinda died and is now in a gigai

hmmmmmmm true very true welp its hard to argue against that but i dont think his mom could be a quincy because she would have saved ichigo with her powers
